In New York:
Onion or sesame-seed bagel toasted with cream cheese and lox. |
This stuff?
If you say so.

In North Carolina, ordering a bagel with "lox and cream cheese" often gets you a bagel with "lots of cream cheese." Then again, we once also had a combination bagel/sushi shop. |

I think you could make a fortune in Seoul by opening up a good bagel place..........
Might be a great business idea for any self starters out there. Low startup, great mark up and satisfaction in knowing you are providing an essential service...

Hiding this between other options does not excuse you from voter fraud. If you PM me for settlement options before Friday, all will be forgiven. Otherwise you too will be hearing from my team of attorneys.
And God too, according to HD. |

| The very best bagel (if you have ever been to Ann Arbor or Lansing Michigan) is the fragel. A fragel is a raisin bagel deep-fried in oil, rolled in cinnamon sugar, and served hot. Sooooooooooooooo GOOD!!!!! |

| I really, really wish people would stop using "gay" to express negativity. I also wish I could get a good plain or onion bagel with cream cheese and nova lox, but that's not going to happen anytime soon, either. |

I'm afraid it's lost any relation to sexual orientation, friend. Much like "schmuck" and "twat", its current use rarely has anything to do with previous incarnations.
It's a queer development, I know. |

Not if you were raised by Yiddish speaking immigrant gradparents, it hasn't. You do know that "schmuck" literally means "*beep*," I assume. In Yiddish, it is used both literally and figuratively in the same way that it would be in English: "That guy's being a real schmuck."
And while I do dislike the over handed officiousness that comes with that which is commonly held as "PC," I just can't abide the general usage of "gay" to refer to things as being bad, and neither can any of my gay friends. I guess that doesn't matter though, because they're, well, you know, gay. |

The great Canadian bagel shop, toasted cheddar herb bagel, with their fresh made cucumber cream cheese. Oh man I miss that. I bought a half dozen when I was flying back to Korea last summer. It's been too long! |
