Looks like the Ladies lunch is a go. However Ody suggested a poll for a location so here it is and my mini-review.
Petra's
This is a middle eastern place near Noksapyeong station. Has both meat and vege options. Service can be a little slow, however the food is good and reasonably priced. Probably should let them know if we are having a big group so that they can prepare.
Carne Station
It's a meat eaters paradise near hongik station. Buffet-type place. Vegie options are obvious lacking. Cost is about 20k pp but drinks are extra.
Thai Orchid
Half way between itaewon and hangjin station. Has both meat and vege options. Can do big groups. It's a bit pricey and has a service charge, however the food is great.
Su-jis
At the noksapyeong end of itaewon. Cafe style food that has both meat and vege options. Pricey and service can be slow and of variable quality. However when it's good it's great.
Country Life Health Cafeteria
I've never been there. But no meat options.
Line 3, Sinsa Station, Exit 3
Not open on Saturdays
Must have reservations for 20 or more
Price: 8,000 won per person
PH: 2-511-2402

SM Vegetarian Buffet
I've never been there. But no meat options.
Line 3, Yangjae Station, Exit 5- Take a taxi cab for 5 minutes- the restaurant is located across from the Samho Mulsan building.
Price: 12,000 won per person
PH: 2-576-9637

My personal preference is for Thai Orchid... however I voted for Petra's on the basis that it's a bit cheaper.

| I abstain. I'll go to any of the places, but 20k does seem a bit much for lunch. |

I like Petras, but the service can be slow and the ventilation isn't that good so when they are cooking up a storm in the kitchen the blue smoke drifts into the eating area.
I'd like to try the Thai Orchard, cos I have never been there

Is Petra's the place sort of above the roundabout - with a big orange sign - and some mean stairs? If so, nice food, but very pricey for what you get? Was there last time and it was 25 or 35 thou for a set menu - which while nice, certainly wasn't worth the money.
I voted Thai Orchid because I've never been, but heard good things. But really, not too fussy. Will be nice to meet you all. |

| I'd be happy with Petra's or Thai Orchid. It would be nice to have the veggie option. Hope to see you soon! |
