Restaurant suggestions for susequent luncheons. Reasonably priced, and catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Hongdae VIPS, and Hongdae Seven Springs. Both are really nice buffets, about 15,000 for lunch buffets (get into the door by 4pm) and about 20,000 for dinner buffet. 10-20% discount with various discount cards or credit cards. Beverages like coffee, tea, juices, sodas are included, but alchohol is additional. The buffets include chicken, shrimp and salmon options.

VIPS: www.ivips.co.kr For directions/locations, click on the 3rd option on top: Jeom Po Su Gae. You will se a subway map. Then click on Hongdae stn. You can also check out the menu at this site.

Seven Springs is much closer to Hong-Ik subway station. It is immediately as you get out of Exit 5. www.sevensprings.co.kr gives you an idea of the menu etc, however, the directions for the Hongdae location is not yet up. Like I said though, it is immediately (10 meters) as you get out of exit 5, in the same building where Coco's restaurant used to be.

I think the idea of a group for the ladies is a great one!!

If you meet on a weekend let me know. I sometimes come in to Seoul and would love to chat with some other expats.

I might be coming back to Korea at the end of the summer. If so, I'd love to join up with you!

A little bit of nervousness is normal. Relax and enjoy the experience. I hope it's a great one for you!

The last one was Sept. 9th. Not sure when the next one will be--maybe in a few months?
