Is Steve Perry of Journey writing for members of the US congress?

Quote:
John Hostettler, chairman of the House of Representatives subcommittee on immigration and border security, said on Thursday that Canada "hosts an abundance of terrorists and as many as 50 terrorist organizations."

Hostettler also lashed out at "South Toronto," which he said was "the type of enclave that allows for this radical type of discussion to go on."

Toronto is Canada's largest city, but there is no area known as "South Toronto." Crimes rates in the southern part of the city -- which lies on the north shore of Lake Ontario -- are relatively low.

Back in the '80 Journey had a song called "Don't Stop Believin" with the classic lyrics:

Just a city boy
Born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train going anywhere

Downtown Detroit starts on the north bank of the Detroit river. South of Detroit is Windsor, Ontario. Either Perry is really crooning about a Windsor boy or he should be singing about the south side of Chicago but that doesn't have as good an internal rhyme as Detroit.

There may be a North York but I would think that South Toronto would be in Lake Ontario. I always thought that there was more in the water there than people knew about.
