hi!! are there any foreign teachers currently living and teaching in Philippines? Particularly Baguio city. but if you are anywhere else in Philippines any feedback on teaching and living thee??

Baguio is fairly small. Did you get a job offer there?
Many get allured by the 'mountain climate' while being in a southeast asian country.. i did once.. which is why I visited once. Outside of that.. and its proximity to that part of Luzon.. the city doesn't have a whole lot more to offer.
It is a college town however.. but I didn't really feel much of its presense/influence when I was in Baguio myself. |

Baguio isn't a very nice city.
Damp, ugly concrete buildings etc.
I find Filippinos to be among the nicest people around but in Baguio I found them to be a little hostile.
"Yankee Go Home" signs stuck to walls.
If I was to live in the Philippines it'd be right at the bottom of my list of choices of places to stay. |

A friend of mine was from Baguio originally. He is super nice...
I am told, though, that there are many Koreans in Baguio...?
