Now that I got your attention, my friend has a malamute for sale. Her name is Lucky (the dog, not my friend). Lucky is a year old. She was rescued from a Korean canine terrorist (not really). But, she did try to jump off a moving truck, driven by the alleged canine terrorist, taking her to some...place. Yeah, that's it...a very bad place. Oh, and she tried to hang herself, as she was still leashed to the moving truck. You don't have to worry, though, she's no longer depressed and suicidal.

She was legally purchased from said canine terrorist, who will, from this point on, be referred to as ct (not CT, which, as we all know, is Connecticut). She was purchased for 180,000 won, and my friend became Lucky's temporary foster parent. Lucky's foster parent's apartment is too small to keep her, as my friend has another dog.

Lucky needs to go to a home that has enough space for a dog her size to wander and pull sleds. She's had her first shot and was de-wormed. She's in good health. She's shy and gentle, and needs loving owners.

Lucky needs four more shots. The cost of all the shots will amount to 200,000 won. Asking price is 200,000 won, which covers all the shots.
If you are interested, contact Juliet at [email protected].

Here are pictures of the dog.

Okay, so far we have three very sick people interested in buying a male mute, but no one has voiced any interested in buying a very beautiful malamute. What is wrong with you people?!?

Oh, by the way, Lucky is located in Incheon.

Maybe it's the size of the living space she'll need which is making people hesitant? We'd be interested in taking her but we have a really small apartment; not enough room for a big dog to pull a sled in.

Hope your friend finds a home for her soon.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like I'm being down on all of you for not taking the dog. It was meant in good fun, like the original post. As for an update, there is an interested party in purchasing Lucky, but no serious inquiries yet.

By-the-way, the price is negotiable, I just want to weed out any potentially bad people by not giving her away for free, but a good home is the most important thing.

Just an FYI that Lucky has found a home with a very nice girl from Montana, so, although no one on here had any interest in adopting her, I would assume that those of you who are animal people would want to know that she's been taken in and will be well taken care of. Now, if someone could remove this from the buy sell forum, I'd be ever so appreciative...

Yes, I'm quite happy things turned around for Lucky, the new owner is a very nice girl and is taking her back with her to Montana, which is a much better place for large breed dogs than Korea.
You should get a dog if you miss having one! I know my little dog has been a god send since I've been here, and it's really not a big hassle to send them home if they're small.

For the love of whoever though,
please only get an animal to curb your loneliness if you've made a plan for the next 10 years (avg lifespan) for your pet. Look at the logistics to send them home even if it is a good 2 years away. And your holiday plans for your pet etc...
There is a lot more to consider obviously.
You may think that this is elementary and goes without saying. Evidently, there seems to be another setting in the minds of many teachers in Korea who look at animals as a quick fix. Would you do that back home? Maybe.
Cuddling and abandoning is also a form of animal cruelty.
Maybe I sound harsh, but I am just so shocked that it is such an acceptable practise on this site.
Of course everyone has good intentions, and different challenges that come up. Please don't get defensive if you are having problems finding a good/better home for your animal. We know that you really are stuck and you love your animal and are trying help them. This is definitely not an attack on you at all. This is mainly a post for people to consider who they will be inviting into their home, and to not take it lightly. Best of luck!
