Alright, I'll pass on a tip that Eamo gave to me.

Go to Seolleung Stn. (line 2 and Bundang line). Go out exit 1.

Take your first right (after the Worri Bank and BEFORE the KB*) and walk straight for about 10minutes. After the 7-11 that is on your left, turn left. The second building in is a hair salon. It says "English service" on the door. Make sure that you ONLY get your haircut from the dude who speaks English. He lived in England for a long while. There other guys will screw up your hair. Can't remember for the life of me the name of the place.

I have sent several friends there are all are very happy with their cuts. The charge for the cut is 20k. And there is about a 10% chance of getting the horrible, horrible ajosie "fade".

On a side note, you can always tell who is new to Korea by their haircut eh? The near bald spot inbetween the temples and far side of the ears.

You can also do no wrong by visiting Family Hair Shop in Itaewon. Here's a growing list of other places that expats have used.

seoul's a pretty big place...sure there are lotsa places. i walked into a place near my apt. (omokygo st.) a year ago, out of the blue, and go back all the time now. the guy and his staff speak no english, and my korean sucks, so we communicate thru hand signs...but have never walked out without a perfect haircut. it's always a good time. tea, vibrating chair when ur getting your hair washed, shoulder massage after. i'm ready to leave then, and have a cigarette and ask them all how it was for them, but then the guy comes and cuts my hair perfectly. if you live around here, pm me, and i'll give you directions.

I recommend the place next to the family mart. You can't miss it, it's across from the buy the way.

In your own place with clippers, I like a shaved head better than what they will do to you at most Korean places. Plus its summer and its so much coooooler.

i've heard really good things about Juno's. I think it's around $20-30 but you get a drink while you wait and the girls are really hot? thats what i've heard.
