A few weekends ago my landlady asked, nay, told me to come to Church with her. I agreed because it was something I have never done while in Korea. Midway through service today a tremor shook through my body as my innards began to churn and convulse, having digested the church experience and found it disagreeable. I don't want to ever go back there!

Now my question is, how will I atone for those 7 hours I spent at church the past three weeks? What do I need to do to purge the taint of religious fiction from my consciousness? While an overnight stay in Itaewon next weekend be sufficient? aiiiiieeeee

Let's go through the list. I'll give you my suggestions.

"I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery. Thou shalt have no other gods besides Me... .."

This one should be easy.

"Do not make a sculpted image or any likeness of what is in the heavens above..."

Fry up some french toast and repeat until you have a likeness of Jesus. This is the sin that really surprises me because nearly every Christian seems to break it.

"Thou shalt not swear falsely by the name of the LORD..."

Just say "Yahweh blows!" and look out for lightning. Then this one's out of the way.

"Remember [zachor] the Sabbath day and keep it holy" (the version in Deuteronomy reads shamor, "observe")

You'll have to wait for next Sunday. When it rolls around, work. It doesn't have to be your job. Maybe do some housework. Volunteer.

"Thou shalt honour your father and your mother..."

Make an old people joke to your dad for Father's Day.

"Thou shalt not murder"

Find a mosquito.

"Thou shalt not commit adultery."

I hope you can take care of this one yourself. Adultery can include cohabitation, and might even cover fornication if you aren't picky.

"Thou shalt not steal."

Find something cheap. I steal glasses from bars all the time. They caught me last week and I said I'd bring it back. That's what they get for turning off the World Cup.

"Thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor"

"Thou shalt not covet your neighbor's house..."

Take a look at some of the nicer homes in the city. This one is easy because you don't really have to do anything.

Don't be soft. If you're going to do something- Do it properly.

I recommend an ice-pick.

Jesus is like lightning. He never strikes twice.

Go on a weekend trip to a City of Sin: Shenzhen or Zhuhai, China.

You will come back weak-kneed.
