Hello Everyone,

So I've finally decided on having my placement in Jeollanamdo. I've read a lot of the posts here, and this is what has lead to the decision. I was also thinking of Incheon, but the placements there are full (with the canadian connections group).

A few things I've found difficult finding information on are gyms, piano, and singing lessons in S.K., specifically Jeollanamdo. Are there any regular gym goers here? I am currently in Thunder Bay, and the university here has two gyms, a swimming pool, an indoor track, and some other nice facilities. Is there anything of the sort in Jeollanamdo? I am a runner and I really enjoy the indoor track here.

As well, are piano and singing lessons popular? I never had the chance to get into it here, but I am hoping to make the time in Jeollanamdo. Would Tango be a far strech for something to practice/learn South Korea? I was almost afraid to ask, but I thought I'd put it out there... So if anyone has a clue, please let me know, I'd much appreciate it.

You're asking about an entire province there Zeno so you're making it hard for anyone to be specific.

Just going on what I know about the rest of Korea I'm pretty sure you'll have no problems finding gyms and piano hagwons in any sizable town.
Singing is a possibility, though I've never come across one (never looked either). Tango outside a major city could be stretching it...

Fair enough, truth is I don't really know exactly where I'll be situated in Jeollanamdo. I just figured I could get some general info. I'll call to find out exact locations and i'll post it back here.
