|
|
| Is Korea one of those places where I'm going to have trouble finding good sour candy? I arrive next week, and I'm going out today to shop for the trip (deoderant, a few more books). Should I add a case of Lemon Heads to my shopping list? |

If you can make it over in just one suitcase, I'll applaud you. I had both packed to capacity!
Anyway, there isn't much in the way of sour candy here. I brought some Warheads to my students and they all flipped out. A few had tears in their eys. Definitely not standard candy here. |

I've had some sour candy given to me in Korea. I can't remember the name though, sorry I know that's not much help. |

Well, I'll be working in Seoul, and it sounds as though someone's finding something that will feed my fix -- if it's to be found, I will find it. I bought some Lemon Heads to tide me over until I can find a dealer, and if all else fails, I assume one can buy a lemon somewhere in the country.
Qinella, I guess this means I will be making it over with one fairly large suitcase and a carry-on. Aside from having grown weary though the years of lugging far too much sh!t around the world, most of my books and stuff are in Greece, patiently awaiting my return. (It's a long story.)
Thanks to everyone who posted. Sour makes Happy! |

| Daiso, the 1000/2000 won shop, has quite a selection of sweet/sour candies. I was surprised. |

| As someone said earlier, sour skittles are spreading over here. I used to eat lemons like they were oranges and I manage to have a tough time with those sour skittles. They seriously can cut up your tongue.....mmm....that's good sourness. |
