What does a multiple entry permit look like? I'm an American and on my visa under "Entries" it says "M." Does this mean "multiple"? Or do I still need to go to the immigration office to get my reentry permit? |
Yes, that "M" under "Entries" means "multiple". Your director must have hooked you up when s/he did all the paper work for your visa. No need to go to immigration, you are set. |

yeah i am curious if M means multiple too.........
so- in the beginning none of us have any right to re-enter under the terms of our current visa unless we pay for either a single or multilple re-etry visa......... |

Seems like its a hodgepodge depending on your nationality.
What I've gathered from reading posts here:
Americans get multiple re-entry included automatically as part of their initial E2 visa. If they extend or get a new job in a 2nd year, they have to fill out the form & pay the fee.
Brits have to apply but dont pay.
Everyone else has to do the form & pay before stepping out of the country temporarily.
Can anyone contradict that? |

Americans get a multiple entry on the E-2 visa automatically.
I did a visa run with an Aussie who had to pay more 600Y and got a single entry. Mine was a multiple entry and didn't even have to apply for it. |

I'm from Australia and just got a multiple re-entry visa with my ARC for 60,000. |
Just a note for clarification:
Your multiple re-entry permit was 50,000 and your ARC was 10,000. |

Really - Brits get it free? |
I just came back to Korea after a weeks holiday. I was confused as I only have a single entry visa and was expecting to pay a fee/fine for re-entry.
But I didn't. Wonderful story. |

If you go to immigration to get your multiple re-entry, how long does it take? |
