I'm having problems streaming videos.. It just started for some reason since i got my new internet connection. I am using Windows Media Player and it will buffer a bit and play.. buffer a bit and play it's really annoying.. I have no file sharing programs or anything that would hog the bandwith running. It's annoying..I tried two separate websites with the same result both using IE and Firefox.. I use Win. XP.. |

Did you get a new ISP?
Did you improve your bandwith?
I don't think your machine is at fault, the chances are that it is more the ISP's service is less qualitative.
Good luck |

yes it is a new service provider.. and it's cable based.. I poked around my computer and couldn' find anything that would slow my bandwith down that much so it has to be my ISP. It's going to get checked anyways.. who knows.. |

Could be the windows media player as well. Try another player like Winamp. I usually just alternate when one works better than the other. Could also be what your live streaming. If there is just one source, the site or user your streaming it from might have a problem. That's happened a number of times with me. And 10 mins later things are working fine again. |
