Just wondering if anyone has heard any problems associated with Wootae Language Institute?I've checked around fairly thoroughly, haven't come up with anything for or against this institution. Does anyone have any information? Thanks for any feedback.

Yeah you could never walk into that school without wanting to shout every day "da wu tang clan is in the da house, ya'll!"

I think I may know that school, but I would need you to tell me where it is located or something else about it just to make sure it's the same one I'm thinking of.

By the way, if it is the same one I'm thinking of (but maybe it's not!) then I know the owner and he's a great guy. I wouldn't mind at all working for him except that I live in Seoul and he has his schools (two of them) too far away (somewhere around Bundang). BUT!!! You should tell me more just to make sure we're talking about the same place.

I am going to answer your question with one of my own.

Did you talk to the current teacherS (note the plural here) and ask them ()via e-mail so they can answer without the boss listening) specific questions about:

Pay and deductions - on time - strange deductions?
Overtime - do they actually pay it?
Credit for classes not worked on national holidays,
Pension and medical - do you get the national plan?
Classes, how many, how long, how much extra administrative work?
Working times - daily start time, daily finish time, what breaks?
Field trips, weekend work, split shifts, extra summer and winter intensive classes?
Housing, vacations,
Anything else you can think of that is important to you

If you didn't get good answers to those questions then you haven't "checked around fairly thoroughly". Do your proper research or suffer when it goes pear shaped.
