Uh, gee, it doesn't take a friggin' rocket scientist to figure it out. A: You had your grunge or Marilyn Manson jacked up and B: You were disturbing people who probably are trying to relax. So, C: He comes and turns down the volume. Sounds like a sensible fellow to me. Imagine if you worked in a restaurant and some guy came in raving in a loud voice and drawing attention to himself...what would you do? Would you try to defuse the situation or would you just let him rave about the price of steak and therefore compromise the integrity of the place? Again, apply some simple logic. A+B=C.

umm wishmaster!!!!
no buddy!!!

if you read the post the original post said, when the computer came on the windows logo sound started and the speakers were turned up full, so he quickly turned it down as fast as he could,,
then the GUY came over anyway and rudely turned off the speakers and said dont play music load!!!
there is a difference between a customer entering a restaurant and is being too loud and then asking him nicely could you please keep it down alittle bit sir ? we have other diners who are trying to enjoy a quiet meal!

oh I could take his approach and shove a rag in the customers mouth and say SHUT UP OK!! you know talking here ok !!!!

A+B doesnt =C! it equals AB!
commen sense comes first.. LOGIC!! if that IDIOT who works in that PC BANG doesnt know the sound of MICROSOFT windows popping up! then he has no business even working there!!!
and there has been other complaints about him about his rudeness!!

so Screw him ! why you defending him?
read the posts man!!
you use words like LOGIC! there are steps you take to defuse situations and the method he took was a bad rude one which ended up losing his place business!!
so is thast logical is it!!

Sounds like I should end my night puking on the keyboard, beats doing it on the street like my normal Itaewon benders.

Hehehe...funniest thing I've read in ages. Obviously written by someone who has never frequented a PC Bang. If not, please forward the address of the library-like, free of blaring K-Pop palace you attend buddy.

can i ask you a question? why on earth do you even bother going/living in the hole (itaewon)? i avoid it like the plague, basically coz a hole in the ground holds more attraction for me than itaewon. what a sh+t hole!

there are hundreds of pc-bangs in seoul, many of them quiet and hardly ever used.

so the guy doesn't like foreigners? it is not surprising that he doesn't like foreigners if he is confronted with the kind of ridiculous bad atttitude that is evident within some of the words that have been posted so far. i quote "why doesn't a group of people give him a good kicking!" not a verbatim quote, but it is this kind of attitude that gives waygooks in korea a bad name.

you should all try and reasses yourselves and maybe try and enjoy your experience in korea instead of letting some little twerp wind you up so much that you have to post about it on dave's. maybe if you started to avoid itaewon totally then you would have a much better experience. you would not encounter people who work in itaewon who are pissed off with dealing with rude, arrogant foreingers such as the ones who have posted on this post.

Itaewon is the Gay Center of Seoul. Many people go there for that reason. They have many bars there that are opened to all, no discrimination, no one checks your sexual preference, nationality or race at the door.
Have you been there?
Why are you so negative about a place that invites foreigners and people that are "different"?

"Avoiding", is that a solution? You should try to open your mind and realize that people are making complaints about their LIFE in Korea. That is all.
Why would anyone not want to encounter people who work in Itaewon or any other Dong?
I would suggest that a foreign tourist spend at least one night in Itaewon and I would also suggest that foreign residents go there for some comfort, a place which may possibly offer relief from the seperatist's attitudes that you have trouble describing. (what is "reasses"? )
