Anybody know how to get one? I'm an American citizen, lookin' to go to Shanghai in a month or so... do I just find the Chinese consulate/embassy/bunker/whatever and ask nicely? Or is there an easier way? I'm in Daejeon without much time to run off to Seoul any time soon. Any help would be appreciated. |

Most travel agents will do it for you, just bring your passport and a spare photo with you when you go. |

Since you are NOT close to Seoul, get the travel agent who is arranging your tickets to take care of the visa too. 60,000 won for an American (4 day service) + any service charges the agent makes (they need to pay the courier) and you need a passport type photo. |
