Hi,

I need to be at Incheon airport at 4.20 am on 16/07 to meet my friend.

I was thinking about stopping at a yeogwan near Incheon subway. Can anyone recommend one? Then getting a bus to the airport.

Does anyone know if that is doable that early in the morning? or maybe I should jump in a taxi.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

As an ex-Incheonite what I'd do is

a) get a yeogwan in Bupyeong (lots of cheap ones available) and get a taxi from there at 4am.

or

b) hang out at The Goose / a pc-bang in Bupyeong and get a taxi at 4am.

There's a bus from Incheon to the airport (105? 111? 110? ...can't remember) but I don't know if it opperates that early. If you wan't option (b) you could try a bar / PC-bang further north up the Incheon Line 1.

I know the 111 goes by Bupeong and to the airport. But I don't think it starts up until 5:30 or so.

present.

i'd stay as close as possible, since none of the buses run that early, and it'll be a bit expensive to take a taxi all the way out there.

probably yogwans in the area which are cheaper, but at least these links give the directions for getting out there

ok..I live in Airport New Town.(on the island about 6 minutes over to the airport)..we have several INexpensive hotels here...(they all have shuttles to the airport which I think are free and run anytime you request) ...PM me if you want more info and I can find the phones for you...STAYING IN INCHEON (on the mainland) is not a whole lot closer than Seoul.

It should only take 20-30 minutes at that time of the morning.

I don't know if the rates have changed, but when I had to take my friend to Incheon, I screwed up on the military time (all I remembered was the 9 so I thought last bus was 9 pm...nope it was 1900 which is 7pm Embarassed )

so suffice it to say we missed the last bus and had to take a taxi because she had a really early morning flight. We took a taxi from the Seoul bus depot near Technomart (can't remember the actually name of it) all the way to the airport. The taxi driver told us he would take us out there for W50,000. So I am not sure if that is a good deal or not but it definately was helpful....we were almost screwed to be stuck at the bus depot.

I'm pretty sure you could get a lot better deal than that.
