I imagine it is expensive, but how much? I'm trying to decide whether to take one or two bottles with me. |

A basic Glenfiddich 12 year old can be had for around 56,000 won.
Jamesons 8 year old (not single malt but very drinkable) is a bargain in Walmat for 24,000 won.
Most of the better wine stores and department stores offer 5-6 kinds of single malt. Macallan, Glenmorangie, Glenfiddich etc. Only the famous ones.
If you don't like generic international whiskies (I know I don't) like Chivas Regal, Ballantines, Johnny Walker etc then bring as much good stuff as you can........
.........and give me a call when you arrive! |

| Your allowed at least one duty free bottle from the duty free shop when you come. LIqour in general is expensive here. If you bring more than one bottle (not counting your duty free one), technically they could stop you. They probably won't, just avoid those grumpy looking customs guys. |
