Canadian Chinese food is great, but I'm not going to count it.

If I lived elsewhere and could go to a good ethnic restaurant once a week and have authentic cuisine, I think I would pick Korean.

I lived in all three, and I can't answer just one. They all have their advantages and disadvantages.

Of course, Thai food puts them all to shame.

In Asia: Thai, Indian, Afghan and Turkish.
In Europe: Greek, French, Portuguese, Italian and Turkish Wink
In Africa: Tunisian, Moroccan and Nigerian.
In SA, Argentinian, in CA, Salvadoran, and in the Caribbean, Cuban.
In Oceana NZ mussels, Aussie bbq and Morton Bay bugs will do fine.

Lots of good stuff just about everywhere.

Then there's the myth that North Americans 'don't have a cuisine' but that's not the case. Fact is like almost any place, there's lots of excellent regional and national variety. Mexican, Tex-Mex, Cajun, northeastern seafood, plains buffalo, northern caribou, roast turkey dinners, and fruit and wildberry pies from all over NA that are simply untouchable among desserts. IMHO all this puts it up there with the best of the best. Hot peppers came from both North and South America, too. What a dull world it'd be without them.
