				| Hey all,
I'm heading to China, and at some point I'd like to stop by Hong Kong in my travels. Can anyone tell me if this requires a different sort of visa, separate visas, or if it all counts in the normal Chinese one? Thanks!

If you are going from mainland China to HongKong then you have no trouble. You get a 90 day visa waiver stamp on arrival.

If you plan to return through mainland China then you will have a problem. Your tourist visa for the mainland is probably only single entry. When you go to HK you will leave mainland China and will need another Chinese Visa to enter / re-enter mainland China again.

The HongKong SAR is treated as a separate country from mainland China for travel and diplomatic purposes. The same is true for Macau SAR.

				| The cost is 35,000 won for a single entry visa. Express is 35,000 won + 24,000 won. Urgent is 35,000 + 35,000. Normal application takes 4 days, express takes 2 days, urgent application is processed on the same day and you can get your visa the day you apply for it. | |

I am not aware that they have a multi entry visa for tourists.

Just know that if you leave mainland china to go to HK you will need to get a new visa to re-enter mainland china.
