Hello All! I have just accepted a job in Bucheon and now am in the process of getting my paperwork processed. I just talked to the school and they told me that they wanted me to send my Visa application to the consulate even though I haven't recieved my Visa Issuance number. They told me to write a note that states that I will call them once my number has been issued. I called the consulate and they said this would be fine. It's been almost 7 days so I should have it soon but the school wants me to start next Thursday the 27th so there's a huge rush to get it done while not wasting any time either. Has anyone else been in the same situation that could offer some advice. I would greatly appreciate it. Surprised Idea

I did the same thing, but they absolutely would not issue the visa without the number. Once I had the number, they issued the visa and sent it out the next day. If you're cutting it close, you may need to go in person to pick it up. At the Chicago consulate, they will not guarantee which day they'll actually put it in the mail. You might pay over overnight delivery, but they might not stick it in the mail for 3 days.
