Worst villian ever? Really, I guess taking out the Khan's, Hitler, Stalin, Kimmie up north, Japan pre WWII (or during), etc etc aren't part of that statement, huh?

Genocide of the American Indians dwarfs all of the above.

Yeah, and as the guy who made a post consisting entirely of the words "squish the Jews" the other day, I guess you'd know a thing or two about genocide, eh?

The U.S. govt's nineteenth-century "Indian" wars and policies were most unfortunate and reprehensible -- for everyone concerned.

By granting American Indians full citizenship rights, by honoring them as much as possible, and by awarding them huge sums of money to settle their land claims from the end of the Second World War to the present, we have done our best to atone for this, at least as much as it is possible to atone for it.

But, in any case, should we not make a comparison between Imperial Spain, Imperial Britain, the U.S., Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Bolivia, and Chile and their treatment of their Indian peoples and cultures, from 1492 to the present, if we were sincerely interested in finding who may have been or still is the worst offender with respect to harsh treatment of said Indian peoples and cultures?

That is, I am asking whether you are aware of what went on when the Spaniards took Mexico and Peru, and what has been going on in Guatemala and Chile in particular since then. And if you are, then how can you conclude what you have above?

But, you're from Indiana. If that hadn't happened, where would you live?
