I'm heading to Fukuoka this weekend for a quick summer break, and I'm wondering where one might go for some dancing and drinking. I know about the main foreigner-oriented places like Sam & Dave's and Happy Cock, but I'm wondering about some other options. Can anyone offer any tips?

when you get to fukuoka, go to the 8th floor of the IMS (Imuzu in Japanese) building, across the street from Tenjin station. there is a place called Rainbow Plaza there. they publish a magazine called Fukuoka Now that has adds for alot of clubs and bars. there is also a map to help you get around.
