i'm going to be working nights in the fall, but would really love to attend a language program near either my work @ gangnam station or home in anyang city.

anyone got any info on konguk univeristy, kyungwon university, hanyang university, or anywhere else in these two areas?

sogang looks awesome but it's a bit far, and i am unfortunately past the registration date for seoul national university.

any advice would be appreciated!

When I go back, I will be going to Sookmyung University.

Shorter terms (8 weeks) and a good program attract me.

thx for the tips.

i've looked into the gangnam academy and have heard mixed reviews. it remains the most convenient option.

other uni choices include:

hanyang (beaver has posted that it's so-so)
chongshin
konguk
kyungwon

anyone attend any of these fine institutions? any other places near gangnam i should look into?

OR: should i just suck it up and do the extra hour-long daily trek up to sogang?

thx kindly for any further words of advice.

Attend weekend courses at Seoul-Kla. I am quite happy with the results.
You may be the only Westerner in your class though, as most of the students are Japanese salarymen.
The instructors speak English well though.
