| streamtv is 3 euros/mth. I use both streamtv and tvu. If you like sports, streamtv is better. If you just want a couple of channels, tvu is better. |

Antrugha, you folks are so friggin lucky with the advances in technology (here's an old timer writing). Although I'm no longer working in Korea, it's addictive to keep checking back at Dave's.
Here's something people might try when watching online tv:
If you can hook up your pc to your tv, do so. My wife watches live Korean tv on our tv through a connection from our pc.
If you don't know how to connect your pc to your tv, do a google search (sorry for no explanation).
Once you get it connected, you can set up your pc to show the exact same screen that is on your monitor on your television. The trick is to choose the television to show your screen in theater mode.
This will make almost any video appear in fullscreen. It's not as smooth as a regular tv, but it's not so bad that you will get annoyed (in my opinion).
In another note, and this might be odd, has anyone tried using Sirius satellite radio in Korea? I ask because I recently read that Sirius's satellites are not fixed but rotate in such a manner that at least one is covering north america at all times.
I wonder if the rotation is such that for a period of time the signal is available over Korea. |
