HI there,

Im teaching summer school and trying to make it exciting. I want to use some water balloons cuz its too freakin hot to be sitting indoors learning from the blackboard.

Does anyone know where to buy water balloons in Seoul?

Ummmm.....

Isn't a water balloon just a regular balloon filled with water? Back in my day, that's all they were. We would buy the el-cheapo balloons at the only store in town, fill them up with water and climb up the back of the only bill board in town and wait for someone littler than us to walk by and drop/throw the water balloon down on their head.

Did water balloons become hi-tech or something after I grew up?

Yeah, geez guys... water balloons have been 'high-tech' ever since I can remember. They make them smaller and thinner so they pop on almost the slightest impact. Every been hit with a regular balloon not quite full of water? YIPES.... all I can find are big balloons but I will check out the party supply store idea tomorrow. Thanx for the idea.

E-mart (Yongsan Space 9/IPark mall) and Lotte Mart (Seoul Station) both have water balloons. At least they have had them, because I bought some last year for my classes.

I buy the ones at the stationary store all the time. Last summer I gave some water balloons to some of the boys in my neighborhood and told them to have fun. I was even nice enough to show them how to fill them with water.

Use condoms. They probably won't break, but they'd be great fun to throw at kids and co-teachers.

condoms.... funny.... maybe someday if I have the privledge to teach sex ed, we can end the day with a nice condom balloon water fight... just to get them 'unembarassed'.

Hmmm...there used to be a joke about a secretary who poked holes in condoms with her pencil. It was pretty funny. Wish I could remember it.
