Korea is overdeveloped.

Too much development here: hyper development. Its virtual suburban sprawl the whole way from seoul to Pusan with many natural beauty spots relentlessly built on or concreted.

This reminds me of my hometown and how a few years ago there was a big drive to make it a "world class city." People had all sorts of ideas and they were making statements like "we'll never be a world class city as long as we have that street full of pornography stores," to which everybody had to roll their eyes and say, "yeah, if we have pornography stores we'll be some hick town like New York or Paris."

i've never minded the trash and the scooters on the sidewalk so much. a lot of what we call development is just window dressing. and a lot of it is very important. i think korea should be working hardest to eliminate gender inequality, even though it's rife in such urbane and developed nations such as japan.

...say, that's an idea to eliminate gender inequality. You could make a bunch of posters that say "Gender Inequality: The Japanese Love It. Do You?"

Learning to put trash in its place would really improve this country. I'm also talking about corruption. Gender inequality is another good issue as well.
