Hi,
This school has an insanely high salary (promises 3.7M won), but makes no mention of whether they'll pay for airfare or whether the 3.7M won only comes when you work 80 hours a week.
Anyone know of this??? Thanks.

Are you sure that you would be making the said salary of 3.7 million won per month? I would recheck this salary he quoted you. |

Considering that they want someone already in Korea, I'd say that your chances for airfare are not good. |

Unless, they're a professional outfit and wanting to make sure that they get face-to-face interviews. 3.7 is a lot of money to throw at a blind overseas hire and a ten minute phone interview. |

This is a joke. It's the equivalent of an ad in the classifieds back home telling you you can make $50,000 a year stuffing envelopes.
These sort of contracts are non-existent, if ever found, and if they did offer such high pay, the job would be filled by someone local in an instant. Someone working there would have a buddy begging to get in, and the call would go there. 3.7? No way. Most jobs asking for a Ph.d. don't offer that much.
Get absolute facts: How many hours per week, per month, how many minutes per hour. Estimated pay per hour, GUARENTEED monthly pay. Get them to tell you the MAXIMUM number of hours they will work you.
You'll find that after asking questions, you'll be ignored from there on-out. |

Update: Salary is not 3.7M won. That is only for experienced teachers.
I'll make a more reasonable 2.4M won, and that includes my housing. Just curious if anyone else has heard of this place? |
