|
|
Can someone recommend a way to send home large boxes and oversized items cheaply? I don't need to get it there quickly but cheaply would be nice. I have some books, a guitar, some clothes etc.
I found a thread earlier this year and now can't seem to find it.
Thanks |

I always use the post office. It's good, dependable and efficient on both ends. Just break your boxes down into the regulation size boxes (to be bought cheaply at the local branch). Don't know about the guitar. |

The post office can deal with selling you boxes for most of your stuff.
For odd sized pieces (like a guitar) the max dimensions allowed by the post office is length + width + height + width + height = 2 meters (200cm AKA 78 3/4") or less. |

Do they offer a collection service like Parcelforce does in the UK? I have to ship some stuff too but am unable to get to the post office due to an injury. |

For shipping my computer home, what is getting insurance like?
Do you think it would be smarter to send that with a company like UPS or DHL or FedEX rather than the korean postal service? |

Package it properly and send it "AIR PARCEL".
It will get to it's destination in about a week. You have more to fear from your HOME postal service than the Korean one.
Use EMS if you want it trackable. |
