Hi all,

I'm flying out of Incheon on friday evening for a week. I have an E2 single entry visa. My plan was to go to the airport tonight (Wed) to organise the stamp as I'm sure I read somewhere that it takes up to three hours and I will not have time on friday? Today however I've explored more and found a post that says it takes between 10 mins and an hour? If this is the case then I will have an hour on friday.

Perhaps when I read "3 hours before" the poster meant 3 hours before your flight (2 hours for check-in and an hour for the stamp), I thought they meant 2 hours for check-in and 3 hours for stamp (total of 5 hours before).

Can somebody confirm roughly how long it takes to get the stamp, and if I arrive at the airport around 5pm for an 8:20pm flight I should have enough time to get stamped and checked-in.

Sorry, a rather long winded post for a simple question.

Cheers.

Why don't you just go to immigration? It takes about 5 minutes after you wait for your number to be called.

I've got re-entry visas a few times from the airport and the longest it took was about 30 minutes. There was a bit of a wait because of the line
but getting the stamp only takes a few minutes.

You'll have plenty of time.

Thank wormholes101, thats just what I needed to hear.

"Why don't you just go to immigration? It takes about 5 minutes after you wait for your number to be called." - Do you mean immigration at the airport, if so that's what I'm talking about. If you mean the province immigration office then as I'm working I can't just swan off and do that, plus there is the time and effort to get there, hence going to the office at the airport which opens longer hours.

It's great to know I can just get the stamp before I fly.

Thanks again.

Hi, I have obtained the re-entry visa twice from the airport in the last 2 months. No waiting. No photo needed. They open at 6.30 am. 30,000 won. No worries... June

Thanks for you advice guys.

Just to let you know I had no problems. Was in and out in 5 minutes and it was free because I'm British!
