From the people who brought you, "How to spot a boob job" comes

Quote:
Mini skirts are back in the summer of 06. Every woman who wants to look gorgeous and beat the heat is wearing one. But beware, mini skirts by the same token offer no protection from howling air conditioners, allowing the chill direct access where you need it least. Wearing mini skirts lowers your body temperature by half a degree Celsius for every 2 cm it gets shorter. The result can be cold hands and feet, and a nippy sensation in the pelvic region.

The cold caused by poor circulation, which in turn is caused by an abnormality in the autonomic nervous system, can cause a variety of gynecological conditions as well as tiredness, indigestion, headache, stomachache and skin allergies. When your abdominal region and bottom are exposed, it cools blood passing through fat layers and the uterus and ovaries, giving rise to menstrual cramps and uterus myoma. And that, some doctors believe, can lead to infertility. Its important that women keep themselves warm even in the hot summer days, says Prof. Kim Min-joung, a gynecologist at Catholic University of Koreas Holy Family (Sungga) Hopistal. When you develop the feeling of cold by not taking enough care to keep your body warm, it can cause infertility.

What?

This is exactly why I feel like I can't trust Korean doctors.

Some of these doctors need to go back to elementary school. Never mind Med school.

Ya, but only if you are Catholic.... you never see crap like this from a NON-Catholic hospital...

Cross your legs and wear skirts down to your toes...

Drink herbal tea

You can effectively protect your body by having medicinal teas such as ginger tea and wormwood tea known for their efficacy in protecting the female genitals. They keep your body warm and protect your uterus.

Wow! I'll never have to wear pants again!

So let me get this straight.

Fans can kill people.
Mini-skirts can cause/lead to infertility and/or hyperthermia.

Dam I'm gonna get my Korean medical degree tomorrow. I'll be rich.

This is a news to me, too! Minis can cause death by hypothermia in South Korean summer? Shocked And I thought that I knew all about hypothermia, being a Finn and all. Anyway, I'm sure that minis do cause numerous traffic accidents in which scores of innocent men perish every year!

I also heard a liberal lashing of kimchi in the panties will starve of the aforementioned genital hypothermia

Aw come on! Don't you people ever pay attention? Mini-skirts should not be worn in the summer because you can catch a chill. Instead, like every good Korean knows, you should wear them in the WINTER when you are less likely to catch a chill!!!!

Though, I have to say, it's true that menstrual cramps can be worse if you are cold. That's why a lot of women use hot water bottles or a heat pad....warmth makes it better. But, I can't see how it causes infertility.

Thanks Smee,

..for bringing this article to my attention.

I retired form updating my website years ago, but this article just gave me the motivation I needed to do some serious updates.

The article gave me a good laugh.
I also wonder does this theory apply to people who wear shorts...hmmm...

I could walk around naked all day during a Korean summer and still be sweating like George Bush Jr. in a spelling bee. (you southerners will notice what I changed in that joke.) I don't see how having a shorter skirt can actually change your body temperature by a whole degree celsius. Seems so unlikely and.. unfair! I'm always so hot!

Sure, but you don't have a uterus to worry about. Protect the uterus at all costs!
