A buddy of mine is testing a blog widget he invented:
http://creamaid.com/

I told him I would help get the word out on his McDonald's campaign:
http://creamaid.com/mclovers.html

They really want some non-Korean pics, so if you're travelling this summer, take a pic of a McD's, post it on your site, and make a cool $10.

Great! Count me in! I'm going to take my own picture eating at McD's wearing a Nike cap, Ralph lauren Polo shirt, a pair of Oakley Sunglasses dangling from my neck, an Apple Ipod next to my Big Mac, a Rockawear bag slung over my shoulder and a Starbucks coffee in my free hand.

Some of my friends call me a corporate Ho. Really? I don't get it.

The catch is you also have to write a blog entry with the pictures and some journal about it.

In other words, one of the most amazing marketing i've seen in a long time.. McDonalds has always had some real lousy food products (bottom of the barrel actually).. but their marketing, advertising, and sales has always been world-class, top-notch, numero uno.

Strangely, because of this post, I actually took a few snapshots of a McDonalds in Kuala Lumpur tonight! Shocked The posting and adding to a blog doesn't seem worth the $10 though. Interesting just to see the ad campaign. If I were a kid, I'd have done this in a heartbeat.
