Just remember things start small, first a book, then a cat, then your child...

WHERE DOES IT END PEOPLE. YOU MIGHT AS WELL THROW THE CAT IN FRONT OF A BUS, AS THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE ESSENTIALLY DOING.

Westerners don't treat animals much better... It's easier to grow up on the street, not knowing anything else then to be in a home, house broken then abandoned... If you are from Canada, there is no quarantine period for cats and dogs as long as they have had a rabies shot... The USA and Europe aren't that bad with quarantine either... So why not take em with you????
Whats the really great reason??

Sorry dude, them there are lies you espouse. I certainly wouldn't call 6 months in quarantine and over 2000 'not bad'. Things come up, getting your pet a new trusted home is better than kicking it out on the street. I get your passion and I admire it, but I certainly don't love your encompassing judgement.

We are all animals... people, cats, dogs, hamsters... Becuase we're at the top of the food chain makes us more important? We give ourself imprtance and take it away from other creatures... Who are we to say who is important... I don't think people are responsible with animals... Not here... Not anywhere... Many people get rid of their kids too... Does that make it ok to get rid of a pet... Just because people do things worst then getting rid of or abandoning aninmals, doesn't make it right!
