I used to be a sloppy student (poorly fitting, just about falling apart clothes that often didn't go togther) which carried over into Korea when I first arrived.

But these days I'd describe myself as being classic-edgy. I tend to like simple well-cut designs. I usually wear one or two colors in an ensemble but have a few patterned or interesting pieces to mix it up every once and while.

Dressy casual.

Button-down collared patterned shirts, with long sleaves rolled up midforearm, with khaki, tan or dark slacks. Shoes in brown tones (Hush Puppies, Dr. Martens shoes, etc). I used to have a lot of navy but notice I have more burgundy and browns the last few years.

For work I go with one-colour dress shirts, blues and whites a lot but with a surprising variety of choice, mostly single breasted pocket, with one of a plethora of patterned ties from back home (only one or two are striped or solid) and black dress shoes, narrow toed, low heel, usually Italian leather sole. Never white sweat socks with dress shoes.

My first job, for my first year of college and the summertime, was in a Men's Wear store. Very Happy

I'm Fabulously Fun.

I love new, bold, and sometimes funky fashions, and my individual style always shines through - plus, I'm great at pulling it all together with a chic pair of shoes or one of my fabulous vintage jackets!

Life is my party, and the more - the merrier!

Similar to Vanislander I guess. I tend to rock the polo shirts more often now though because of how hot it is. Also, during the winter, I tend to wear a sweater over top of my shirt. I never wear a tie though. Dressed the same in university, always wearing polo's. I think I have always worn polo's. I wear jeans on my free time too, but still with a polo. During the summer, I wear shorts a lot, with a polo. Can you spot the trend?

I don't wear polo shirts.

Back home we call them "golf shirts".

I have one and only one, in the back of the closet, a gift from a good friend, so it'll stay there. I've worn it twice, each time when he was around.

I call them golf shirts too, but some people don't seem to understand that sometimes. Polo shirt aside, I dress essentially the same as you though, and half the time at work, I wear a button down shirt. I know you don't wear golf shirts.

I tend to wear clothes that are "winter colors". I like black, charcoal grey, dark green, and white. I like natural fibers (wool & cotton) that are mostly from Thailand, etc. I like Boston Fakenstocks. I also like wearing those breathable sports clothes. Light and comfy.

In the winter, I like to wear layers~ especially tweed during the cold months. I try not to wear ties unless it's absolutely necessary. I like rimless titeanrum framed glasses.

Being fair skinned and a red head I wear a lot of fall colours. Lots of deep reds, burnt oranges, browns, darker greens.

My work attire is usually pretty casual as I am crawling around with little ones. No use in wearing a skirt and blouse if you're on your knees playing with kids. They're messy little buggers.

My personal style though is what I liken to a latin lady. I've got hips and the butt and breasts I just want to donate to all the A cup ladies so I guess my style is similar to that of a latin lady. My skirts and tops all have that vibe to them, frilly yet shows off the curves. Tight around the waist and low cut v tops. Don't get me started on my shoe collection. The poor partner doesn't know what the hell to do with them anymore. They take up the whole closet bottom.

Long.

And black.

I wish summer would get a move on, because I really want to get out of my Tarzan uniform and back into some real clothes.

Being red-haired and fair-skinned also, I tend to wear a lot of blue. Because, for a red-haired and fair -skinned person, blue brings out the beautiful veins running just below my skin. I have to emphasize that I have lighter skin than all the Koreans around me. Just because I'm mean like that.

One of my 6th-graders was sitting in class with her backpack on yesterday, so I asked her why. Another student, who is all aflutter about pashion, quickly answered: "Backpack style!"

Ahhh.. I thought it was hilarious, because.. it's so lame that it might actually be a real term in the Korean fashion world.

As for me.. I have a horrible selection of clothes right now. I have a few pair of pants that I really like, but my shirts are mostly unusable. Solid colored Banana Republics shirts, a few "golf" shirts, some button-ups, t-shirts.. nothing great. If I didn't hate clothes shopping in Korea so much, I might make more of an effort.

Q.
