I've got to buy some electronics & peripherials here in Daegu and would like to know where I can get an AC adaptor for a GBA SP and a region-free DVD player (kids brought some R1 DVDs with them from home)
3). Just arrived in town yesterday and am not exactly sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

There is a technology market behind Migliore (pronounced "mill-ee-or-ray" in Korean (this is near downtown). You could also try E-Mart, K-Mart, or any other store with electronics for a plug adaptor. Even Home Plus might have something.
It's kind of hard to give you any better directions without knowing exactly where you are in Daegu. |

We checked e-mart, but couldn't find the plug there. We're living in Ha-Won Bon-Ri-Ri, close to Ha-Won Elementary School, if that helps. |

there are two great places for electronics in Daegu;
1. downtown. It is a street that runs north/south, 200 meters east of Kyobo books. Its sandwiched between Daegu station and KFC at the big city park. Lots of stores, and one great parts store on the west side, about 1/3 of the way north.
2. EXCO, this is the huge electronics building in the north end of town. Look on a city map, see where the river juts north then south (like an upside down letter U). Its right there. This place is awesome, a cavernous 4 story building with basically everything. I've been there about 30 times,and still find new stuff. Example: online my casio ex-z750 digital camera was selling for 390 000, and at exco i negotiated it down to 320 000. Know your prices, or they'll quote you high. |
