same same.

nirvana?... Girl-flend recently "discovered" them, so I'm hearing it allllll over again. Annoying, as I've kinda had my fill of suicides of late.

Hey, Tiberious. Guess what the #21 Best Thing About Being a Korean Man™ is. C'mon, just say something.

No. Guess again, Noodle Boy. It's 신라면.

Guess what the #2 reason is.

Nope. Wrong again. It's not man-purses. It's idle Japanese women who lust after Korean men. That's what.

#9 Soju.

#24 Mobile Phones. Korean mobile phones are the best in the world because the have many features and are quite luxurious. If mobile phones here were sold as cheaply as they are in foreign countries, Koreans might be tempted to change models every day. Thankfully, they're sold at sufficiently high prices to discourage poor people from extravagant spending.

Why did you say that? Anyway, no, I'm not. I'm not reading it.

Nirvana was more influential, but if I had to sit through the entire discography of one, it would be Smashing Pumpkins.

#1 is Smashing Pumpkins CDs. Either that or kimchee, I don't know for sure.

#4 Bibimbap.

#14 Boshintang.

#38 Park Chan-ho. (and a long defence of why he's listed by some)

#41 Itaewon. Makes ya proud to be a Korean man, damn straight! Why? Because of all the French designer rip-offs we have made in China and then brought into Itaewon, all to lure rich Japanese women & their money to Korea. Oh, and lots of Nigerians pretending to be Americans. That's globalisation!

Why...WHY?

Was I not invited to this conversation?

Oh, Nirvana...the malapropism of the millenia.

Nirvana. Geeze, you youngins! The lead singer of smashing pumpkins has a voice that can be listened to in small doses. While their lyrics are good, so much Nirvan is gorgeous poetry!

Nirvana v Pumpkins? Shocked Shocked

you're taking the piss surely?

Nirvana, although overrated, were something of a seminal band and Kurt was a classic rock star. He was too hell-bent on being not-commercial for my liking so in my opinion (being more of a fan of commercial rock over horrible rackets) never fulfilled his potential. But he did have some substance.

Smashing Pumpkins (a) is a CRAP name for a band and (b) are weak copyists. His voice, his lyrics....all crap.

Remember the band Korn? Well, I'm not really a fan of theirs. But they did create something new. Remember Coal Chamber? Crappy little copyists, limping around, make-up in tact, on the crutches of a 'scene'. SP are like Coal Chamber.

For every Guns N' Roses, there's a Tigertailz. For every Korn a Coal Chamber, for every Nirvana a Sucking Pumpkins...laughable little copyists.

I picked the third option. I've never met Sparkles but I'm not a fan of either. It really has nothing to do with their songs but rather the voices of the lead singers. Billy Corgan sounds like chalk scratching a chalkboard and Kurt Cobain sounds like he's gargling razor blades.
