December 31st... but the last month is vacation. I'm planning to get a different job in March. Guess I'll be unemployed for a couple of months - not sure what I will do.

Not planning to leave this country anytime soon. 6 years and still going strong.

Bigamist.

Anyway I've only got a bit over a month left but will probably extend until November or December. Then I'm not sure, a break and maybe the move to Japan. If not, back to Seoul.

I've got 5 months, one of them vacation, and then what I'd like to do is travel through the Phillipines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia(east coast only), and New Zealand, then fly home and try to nab that New Mexico job I really want. What'll probably happen is that the Invisible Chica will chicken out just before go time, and I'll get stuck with another year in Korea or something.

I have nine months left, but I am not sure I'm going to make it that long. I like Korea and I like my school a lot but I am desperately homesick still. If it doesn't get better I'm leaving at the 6 month mark and going back to work at the University job I left at home.

a little over 7 weeks, but planning to work one extra month (so around 2.5 months). Need to save up all the cash I can because not planning to work for an entire year: take a short break then re-educate myself before trying to find a job back in the states.

Is that the Yemen deal...?
From what I hear Yemen is dirt cheap...like $10 a day cheap. X365 + flights seems pretty reasonable.
Good luck anyhow.

yeah, 2 months at home, then go to yemen in january. I'm not worried about paying for Yemen, I'm worried about before and after Smile. I'm planning to go to Washington dc afterwards to look for a job, and well, DC ain't exactly cheap. I'm hoping a cousin of mine will able to accomodate me for a bit there, but we shall see.

If I get desperate and I fail miserably, I can always return to Korea. Laughing

that my friend, is called vodka. Or maybe the fact that I haven't been around so many western guys in ages, and it was major sensory overload.

Ah, so we'll call it a "glow on" then ... lovely isn't it? I was also rather excited to be round westerners again ... though like a true repressed kiwi man I managed to hide most of it ...
