There are NO people in Bundang. It is a big, empty space with nothing but trees, flowers and rice fields.
Where in Bundang are you? Are you close to one of the subway stations? |

The heart bleeds for you. I have been here 11 months and never seen another foreigner in my area.
There are many foreigners in Bundang. Go to Monkey Beach near Seohyeon station. Get in a fight or have sex with a stranger (why not both). Then phone the Korean Herald and tell them all about it. |

Neither of you have provided any personal information - if you want people to meet up with you, you're gonna have to be more open.
There are many nice people around (even amongst the old wizened and sarcastic Dave's lot), but there are also a LOT of nutters too.
Maybe I'm just a cynic, but I usually assume most people are a bit on the crazy side unless I see otherwise.
Mrs. DodgyBarnet and I are both near you two as well, and would love to meet other people for a beer, just tell us a bit more eh? Photos help too, although not always in a positive way:

I'm always down for a beer or eleven. If anyone's interested, PM me.

Goodness, despite having a wife and child, Sparkles seems to be one lonely guy. Anyone moving to Bundang should know that they've got a ready-made b-ballin', blog-writing drinking buddy in this fellow. Based on his blog, I'd like to take him up on his many offers of beertime, but I'm too far away from his upper-crust kingdom on the Tancheon. |

I should point out that the wife and girl are currently staying in Canada with my folks, thus my recent loneliness.
If you do one day find yourself in the hallowed Kingdom of the 'Dang, animalbirdfish, first one's on me.

Make your way to The Dublin Irish Bar,
lots of English teachers hang out there, lots of Koreans too,
I am on my way there look for the guy with the half empty pint of goodness, surrounded by willing females. ( I wish ) Seriously it is the place to meet people and have fun. Fridays are usually pretty busy, you will have no problem striking up a conversation. it's a very well run place. cocktails are 5000w a pop AT WEEK-ENDS and they are STRONG! Great Guinness on tap fresh as you like at 7000w which is great value for Korea. Pints of Miller draught 4000w, it stays open very late too. Exit the KFC exit which is no 6 of Samsung Plaza walk about 60m and it is there on your left second floor. Tel no is 031 7087942 if you get lost, or ask any foreigner you meet,
have fun i hope I meet up with you. |

I've been meaning to go to that place - the Mrs got ambusehed (in a good way) by the owner a year or so ago, but we never got round to visiting. Guess I gotta fix that.
Maybe I'll pop along tomorrow even.

Well, damn, that's a good price for a beep if you ask me. I'll have two. |

Don't know about Bundang, but you're close to Gangnam for Korean language classes at one of the hagwons there (Pagoda, YBM, etc). |

What kind of two bit operation are they then? I went along tonight (A saturday) after a hard day shopping and taking it easy. Got there at 7.15pm and it was closed - I mean really, anything with the name "Irish" ought to be suppling booze at all hours
7pm isn't that early is it? What are the opening hours? |

i'm looking for a catholic church in English that is really close to get to. As well a place to workout. My Korean co-teacher keeps telling me I have to go to Seoul for these things.
It's making me feel like Bundang has nothing but a busy night life! |

Well, got to Bundang twelve hours ago, don't really have a clue where anything is as they kind of just left me here!
All I know is I walked past a big crossroads with an entrance on each corner for Migeum Station.
Is there a supermarket near? Not sure what to do now! |
