Kaldi cafe in Hongdae roast and grind their own beans. They're awesome! We're hoping to buy a coffee grinder very soon. Then it'll be the esspresso machine!!

Nod over coffee!

Buy a grinder. You can also find ground coffee online (원두 coffee is roasted coffee...can't remember what the word for ground coffee is). If you're a bit of a coffee snob, or you just like the novelty of making things one your own, you can also buy green coffee beans and a roaster (생두 coffee).

I had an espresso machine a couple of years ago I got from Walmart. It was made in Korea and forty bucks. Weekends were a blast with that thing, frenzied home caffeine cooking. First thing in the morning then you KNOW you're doing something after that.....BE where the action is (caffeinated up to the eyeballs). Ought to get another one....run around, run around....

One of these.....

Plus one of these....

Plus some of this.........

Put these three together and add about 7 minutes of your time and you can have perfect coffee in Korea.

The coffee beans are in Costco. The Bialetti coffee maker and various kinds of grinders are in the department stores.
