Hi guys, My roommates and I have moved into an apartment, and are in desperate need of a couch. We have one comfy chair, and a broken glider rocker. Not too good for hosting get togethers. Crying or Very sad If you know of anyone who is trying to sell a couch, could you let me know? Thanks!
Linda

Where are you? I have a sofa, love seat and armchair (matching set) for sale but I live way out in the country. If your in Seoul it is too far. But if you live somewhere else...perhaps.

Use the search function here & find the thread about IKEA importers in Korea. You can get a decent couch from them for 200K-300K won.

I am located in Bongcheon, the southern side of Seoul. Someone sent me an email about a couch, but when I responded the mail was returned. If you sent me an email, I wasn't able to reply since your in box is too full. I am interested in hearing more about the sofa though.... pictures would be great!

I have looked at a few of the online sites for furniture and I am completely shocked at how much more they are charging for a piece of furniture over here in Korea. I can understand a bit of inflation, due to shipping/import costs, but come on: let's get real. 300,000- 400,000 for a side table is unrealistic. I guess I'll be buying some Korean furniture instead of IKEA. As I don't read Korean, can someone please post the Korean word for Couch/Sofa on here so I can find it on GMarket. Thanks.

Hi All,

Thanks for all your help. I am going to pick up a couch this afternoon. Whew! I have been looking for what seems to be quite awhile. 3 women in one apartment with only one comfy chair in the living room? Not a good thing. Thanks again!
