Hi everyone, i wonder since the summer is almost over and fall is at the door, i'll be out of luck with my summer wardrobe that i brought with me 2 mos ago.
Any tips on where a guy can shop and 'not' look like the avg-korean- crazy-combination-print-style advertising clown on the streets?
I like simple stuff, like solid colors, etc. you know GAP-style, simple but still not too dressy nor too grungy. Something clean and just casual etc.
There's no GAP, Express-For Men, etc here or is there?
Forgot to mention that i'm in the Suwon area. |

You might try department stores, like Galleria or uh.. other ones. They usually have stuff like that, and often have sales going. Some places though might only have the ajeoshi style clothes, which is worse than the young Korean clown getup you described above. |

For that kind of stuff, I go with Giordano. You should be able to find one in any major shopping area. It's probably my overall favorite brand in Korea. Tons of good stuff with no labels, no flashy patterns. Just comfortable, casual, fashionable wear that works well in a lot of different settings. Prices are extremely reasonable, too.
However, now that 이준기 is now a spokesman for them, I may have to reconsider. |

If you're a polo shirt and khaki kind of guy like mine, just keep your eyes open. Even E-mart has stuff like this if you can get past all the pink, sequins, and ruffles in the men's section. |

If you go to Ori station in Bundang/Yongin, there is actually a GAP/Banana Republic store. It's pricey, but it has what you want. |

The far southeast of Seoul. I sugggest the best way to go would be to get the bus to Express Bus Terminal in Kangnam and then get the subway to Ori, using the station's subway maps. |

go to suwon station, find the adidas store, i think it's across from the KFC and Mr. Pizza. Take yellow bus 720-2 or 700-2, they will both go to Ori station. I believe the poster who mentioned the store is talking about the outlet stores, or the big strip of highway with all the retail stores. you will have to get off before ori station, or you could just take a taxi back the other direction |

just be thankful they will have your size... even if it is pink and frilly. I'm 6"5' and I'm not liking my chances of picking up good fitting clothes |
