|
|
I turned on my desktop computer and noticed that I was not connected to the internet so I unplugged, and then plugged in my modem to no avail.
My next step was to unistall the network card from the device manager so at restarting my computer it would be re-installed; have done this in the past and it worked.
Anyway, I noticed that there was no network card icon in the device manger list so I scanned for new hardware changes, and got nothing. I then went to the control panel to install new hardware, but all I got was a list of 3 Microsoft network adapters which I do not have.
I should also say that the lights are flashing behind the computer where the network card is located, and that I am not having problems with my I.S.P. as I am writing this from my laptop.
Any ideas? |

Buy a new network card (they're cheap), install it and see what happens. |
