This is just out of pure curiosity, but do any of you know if there are any bomb shelters in Seoul? Not that I care much because I live in Ulsan. Seeing as it is a major urban centre right next to where the front line would be in a possible war it would make sense for there to be some bomb shelters there. Or are the people supposed to make do in the subways? |

the subways...and, yes, there are some bomb shelters under major buildings...
me...I'll sit on my roof with a bottle of good wine and watch the fireworks! |

Those bomb shelters are tantamount to mass graves. I'd take my chances, steal a car, and haul ass south! Maybe one could keep ahead of the North if they started before they hit the 37,000 strong US "speed bump" along the border.
Then again, those living in Seoul won't live through the first few hours of shelling so good luck on reaching those shelters.
If it goes nuclear we can all kiss our asses goodbye, shelter or not. |

I heard that the sole survivor of the Hiroshima bomb was a convict ,who was held prisoner in a cell below ground. He was found several days afterwards and was like "what happened up here"!!! |
