Philippines - no visa for stays of under 21 days
Singapore - one month visa-free
Hong Kong - one month visa-free
Indonesia - visa on arrival for $10 for seven days, $25 for 30 days.
Malaysia - three months visa-free, extendable for two more months
Cambodia - $20, passport photocopy and one photo (3 x 4 cm); good for 30 days, extendable for one month
Laos - $30 and photo for 15-day visa, available on arrival
Vietnam - not sure, but a visa on arrival seems to be available; other posters who've done Vietnam can help here
Thailand - one month visa-free
Taiwan - one month visa-free
Myanmar (Burma) - $20 for 28-day visa, two application forms, three photos, and itinerary. |

4 days at the embassy.. 30 day visa.. it will take up a full page in the passport.. must specify the date of entry and where is your arrival (saigon or hanoi or wherever).. at least those were the rules in 2002. |

if you want a visa for vietnam, they can do it in 24hours in bangkok, costs slightly more though, same service might be available elsewhere |

Hong kong is 90, Macau is 30 but a quick ferry ride out and back gets you another 30
