"Judge Judy"
It's had the 12:30 pm time slot on AFN for about forever now, whereas other shows kinda come and go every season or so. |
its for the GI wives who are stuck at home. They used to run NBC Nightly News at noon which was nice even it was a little late (3-4 hours). What I'd love to see in that 11AM slot instead of ER reruns is "The Price Is Right" that show is fun to watch
shows I hate:
Malcolm in the Middle
Oprah
Dr Phil
CSI NY- Yeah David Caruso is annoying as hell on CSI Miami but he has a good supporting cast, CSI NY has nobody I could care about
Cold Case
Medium
Without A Trace
I could watch Law and Order-all 3 of them all the time |

I agree with whoever said all reality shows.
No one has said Oprah or Dr. Phil or just about any talk show yet.
Judge Judy was a good call.
Sex in the City is awful. (is it "in" or "and"?)
Almost everything on Arirang.
garbage shows like Springer or Cheaters
Any drama that takes place in a hospital.
I can't believe some have mentioned, "Seinfeld." This is what is known as popularity backlash. |

| There's so little English TV up here in the hills that I'll sit through almost anything, but I draw the line at "The Nanny". I'd rather endure seemingly endless Korean mattress commercials while waiting for 'Law and Order; SVU , than spend a nanosecond with that woman, second in offensiveness only to Roseanne. |

Yes, Will and Grace immediately spring to mind. Oh wow, a very camp gay guy - isn't that fantastic?
Mind you, I'm no fan of western TV at all. All that sex and violence....I get enough of that at home!
Other than soccer games/programs and American Idol, it's all worthy of scorn.

Couldn't agree more. How can anyone sit through an entire episode of that? |

How I forgot to totally slag off Sex and the City I don't know.
That really is a vile shower - genetic mutations, social degeneration and creatures born of malignant science. Expurgate the Earth of such abomination.
If you're a knucklehead like me, TV generally is very alienating, since it's all gone camp and girly, and one finds comfort in narcotics and Death Metal.
Simpsons is overrated. Holds my attention for all of 2 minutes. |

Oh, how I've gotten flak for voicing agreement with this... |

No, there are some gems, like the soccer episode, but all in all it does not a thing for me. And is pales in comparison to South Park--nowhere near as clever or cutting. |

Well, flotsam, there goes my perception of you. To denounce the Simpsons is one thing; the show has been mediocre at best for about the last 5 seasons (though it was usually quite good before then), but to declare South Park as clever or cutting? Yech. I think another poster here hit the nail on the head when he mentioned that it seems to thrive on middle school type fart jokes and other scatological "witticisms." Oprah needed a good skewering after that "Million Little Pieces" fiasco. Instead, they decided it would be hilarious to have two of her orifices converse. |

1. I agree about the Oprah episode. That was a bit off.
2. Seasons 1-7 are pure genius. Scott Tenorman Must Die is a ridiculous classic and the MOVIE, dude, just for the soundtrack that movie should be revered forevermore.
3. You never had any respect for me anyway. Admit it. |

I basically detest all sitcoms that are out now or came out within the past 5-7 years-absolute crap.
I tend to like action/ drama like Law and Order-Criminal Intent, or LOST. Oh- and THE SHEILD is excellent! |
