| I'm looking for a job in Central Seoul......as I'm going to be studying there. Where are some good places to look? I'm at a loss. Everything I have searched for has been full time and teaching little children. I'm not super picky.......I would just like to try teaching people other than children. |

There are some part-time jobs and a lot of 1-2 hour/week gigs. As to quality . . . I won't comment. |

If you are on a student visa and legally entitled to work, then put your resume in your hand and wander into one the the big adult chains and ask for part-time work.
They won't likely talk to you while you are abroad. They will talk to you if you are there in person.
Alternatively, if you are a student at a post secondary school (college or uni) you will have LOTS of opportunity for extra curricular work and many offers. |

I'm not going to bother with a student visa......I can stay just as long on a visittor visa since I am a Canadian. The only thing I'm worried about is that I want a job....and I want to work legally. Can I get an e2 for part time work.........what other kind of work are you talking about? I don't really want to work illegally.
OOOOOOORRRRRr is it better to be on a student visa...because then I can work??? |

No problem! Yeah I thought they did a pretty good job at restoring my nose but they weren't able to help w/ the hair that was burnt off by the tire...  |

You should perhaps give some more info about the 'study' component for us to help you because study visas and work visas cannot be mixed.
Perhaps you can look for a job which has less hours rather than being part time. Many of the after school gigs seem to have you working between 1pm and 6pm with no extra requirements, so you could then, for example, study during the mornings. |

tHANKS......IT WAS GETTING majorly off topic.
Okay....I will be studying from 9am until 1:30 pm. I don't know how much afterschool prep for classes that I have.
I am just tempted to come here on a tourist visa to see what I can pick up when I'm here.......although its always nice to find something ahead of time. I would be willing to do like a 5-10 or soemthing like that even.....it would not be too bad i dont think. But I have no idea. |

Just send a note to : [email protected] and let them know what you are looking for. They always seem to have part-time and casual positions available for guys on a tourist stamp. |
