| I think that squat toilets result in less wiping. Any thoughts? |
That is true. I read an article about the hygiene benefits of using squatters. That's also why animals don't have to wipe their asses after they go to the bathroom. |
Dags anyone? |

| It all depends on diet. Koreans eat pretty healthy, lots of fruit and veg, so they don't have the sloppy poos as much. Many people also wet some tissue to have a poor-man's bidet. Seems like a good idea to me. The wet wipes are definitely a good idea. |

Always wash (only do number 2s at home). I think I have become indocrinated after years of living with muslims.
Had a brilliant electronic bidet thing in my hotel in Japan recently. Definitely going to get one when I get home! Have seen them advertised in Korea too. |

We do that at Chez Sparkles, but Christ they're expensive.

| Wet wipes are pointless unless it's an emergency poo in public, where showering directly after is not an option. |

Why would you have a set number? You just wipe until you're done.
I wonder how blind people know when to stop wiping. |
They smell it. |
I thot maybe the same way they read.

What, you want a dirty assed cat lounging around your place? Ever notice the way cats sit? Their assholes are making direct contact with whatever is under them, and they don't pinch shut like humans'. It's full-on fecal exposure. Absolutely did the wet wipe procedure with them so often that they finally stopped freaking out when I did it.
About once or twice a week, I'd scrub their entire rear, including tail, with a soapy rag and warm water. |

Front to back. Absolutely. I'm not even going to go into why you shouldn't do it the other way, just trust me on this. |
