I want to edit some videos from my camcorder, and the computer I'm using doesn't have an IEEE 1394 port. It only has USB ports. I want a device that can convert the signal from my camcorder to USB format. I looked around Yongsan for a while and none of the vendors I talked to had such a device. Does anyone know where I could get one?

I looked on the Internet and it looks like I might just need a special plug.

That seems too simple, though. Do I really just need a special plug to be able to capture video from my camcorder via the computer's USB port?

Occam's Razor: The answer to the most complex question is usually the easiest most simple answer.

Yes, if you buy that converter, you'll have no problem.
