If you work in a hakwon you can expect to have a 3 day weekend for XMAS and another 3 day weekend for New Year.

You will get a 3 day weekend for the Lunar new year in Feb. It falls over a weekend (17,18,19) so it's not an extended holiday - just a long weekend.

That's normal for my hakwon. At my previous hakwons, the longest I ever had off at once was 6 days. At my current hakwon, I had 9 days for a summer break, will have 6 days over Chuseok and 10 days over Christmas.
