Where do you play in Korea? I'm craving some pick up, or even just skating. How expensive? How easy is it to sign up? |

there are a few groups of foreigners in and around Seoul that play regularly. It costs about 15,000 for a pick-up game. A couple of groups play on Sundays (in the morning at Mok-dong, in the evening in Anyang). |

most of the 'foreigners' time is not 'free skating', but pick-up hockey (non contact, but full slap-shot, so full equipment). Girls are definitely allowed, and often better than some of the newcomers.
If you want just free skating, you can go to Lotte World, or even Mok-dong ice ring has free skating on the weekends.
Be aware that the skates they rent out haven't been sharpened for about 3 years though! |
