I've heard of Ward. Even drove through it on the way to somewhere...or maybe it was on the way OUT of somewhere. It's been a while. There's a hippie-owned restaurant outside of there with the best damn oatmeal cookies on that side of the continental divide (or at least there was in 1972).

I live in a wide spot in the road, Tae-Pyong Ri...sort of the Batavia of Korea. Midway between Ichon and Yeoju (or to keep the comparison going) midway between Ottumwa and Fairfield, two places that are world famous all over Iowa.

An tweren't me who said it, 'Kore-err aint the 'hub of asia'. It's closer, I reckon, to bein the tire bitin', hub chaser of aiszur'.

Yup, read that on a petroglyph somewhere escapin' arrows up a blind canyon. Chopstick arrows!
